Xero Integration: Component Quantities Shown on Invoice

Thanks to feedback from our customers, we are very excited to announce an enhancement to invoicing with our native Xero integration! The invoices produced out of Xero are now updated to align with the Chargify invoice quantity per each specific component your customer is billed on. Previously, the quantity was set to 1 with the total amount of the component noted in the unit price attribute. The actual quantity was only available in the line item description. This added functionality improves the ability to view and track in Xero the components sold to your customers.

Component Allocation History in Salesforce

Mirroring as much of your customers' subscription information in Chargify to your Salesforce environment is vital to creating efficiencies amongst your Sales and Customer Success Teams. After hearing from many of our customers currently leveraging our native integration, we are excited to share an exciting new feature in Salesforce!

You can now view historical and current allocation of all components and their respective usage for each customers' subscription. This added visibility in Salesforce gives your team faster response times to take action and assist customers, preventing the need to look up component allocations in Chargify.

HubSpot Integration: New Multi-site Support

Providing a consistent customer experience starts with having the right applications talking to each other, such as syncing your HubSpot environment with Chargify, leading to less friction between your sales & support teams. For our customers who are currently utilizing the NextGen HubSpot integration, or are planning to integrate soon, we have some very exciting news!

Our Product Team dedicated to our native integration with HubSpot has been hard at work developing new Multi-site support so you can connect more than one Chargify site to one single HubSpot account! If you are using multiple sites to segment entities, revenue streams, products or customers, you can now leverage this within your HubSpot environment.

A/R Export Enhancements

As your company scales, having the ability to effectively reconcile your invoices becomes critical in servicing your customers, detecting fraud, and saving time and money on costly errors. Chargify's Accounts Receivable report breaks down outstanding balances into invoiced amounts, payments, and refunds. To provide more intricate detail for your finance and accounting teams, we are excited to announce a new export option to the A/R report!

The Invoice Application Detail export will allow you to select an Invoice Issue Date option. The date range will give you a snapshot of your invoices for a particular period of time and their exact status relative to a payment. In addition to including all invoices, regardless of paid status, it will also show their respective refunds, credits, and applied payments. The ability to reconcile invoices has never been easier!

  • Search is now front and center and easy to get to
  • Quick actions are clearer and now under the “Create” button
  • Site switcher now shows subdomain alongside the site mode

Salesforce Ad-hoc Invoice Creation

Having your sales team work in a platform they're most comfortable in without having to learn other systems (especially billing) can be a key component to creating efficiencies within the organization. At Chargify, our native Salesforce integration is set out to solve the swivel-chair movement between CRM and billing for your customer-facing teams. Due to recent feedback from our customers, we are very excited to announce a brand new feature for our Salesforce integration!

To better enable your sales team to sell specialized deals, we have now added the ability to create ad-hoc or one-time invoices from Salesforce. These one-time invoices can have custom line item pricing as well as unique invoice billing and shipping addresses for added flexibility. Any time an invoice is created in Salesforce, it will automatically be synced over to Chargify.

Finance Report Enhancement

Tracking your monthly performance in terms of total sales provides you and your team a pulse on your revenue flow that can help identify growth opportunities and trends. Chargify's Finance Report provides monthly totals of your Total Billed, Payments, and Expected Payments. It breaks down Total Billed into Sales, Discounts, Taxes, and Credits.

To more closely align with the data presented, we are excited to announce a modification to the report terminology. In both the UI and exports, the Revenue fields have been updated to Total Billed less Tax as the report measures sales performance based on billed amount.

HubSpot: New Subscription Details Link & Enhancements to Coupons and Setup Fees

Since the launch of our native HubSpot integration earlier this year, our beta users have provided valuable feedback leading to several updates over the past few weeks. Our latest enhancements are around Subscription record details and redesigning Coupon and Setup fees.

You are now able to view Subscription Details in HubSpot and link from the Subscription details to the Subscription UI in Chargify from any Subscription record. In addition, Coupons and Setup Fees have also been redesigned, allowing for a more seamless workflow with HubSpot Quotes. Chargify custom fields are now selectable on HubSpot Deals and Contracts.

We look forward to continuing to evolve our native integration to meet your business needs. If you are interested in this integration, please email us at support@chargify.com or contact your Chargify Customer Success Manager.

Salesforce: Lead Generated from Trial Subscriptions

Your success as a company is heavily dependent on a strong and effective sales pipeline. Managing and capturing the most up-to-date information on your trialing subscribers can become difficult, oftentimes leading to misplaced or duplicated contact and account information. To help prevent these hiccups for your sales organization, we are excited to announce our latest enhancement to our Salesforce integration!

Your trialing subscription data from Chargify can seamlessly integrate with your Salesforce environment, allowing for your trial subscriptions to create or match to an existing lead in Salesforce. This will give your sales team the most up-to-date information on their prospects and existing customers currently on a trial subscription.

Your sales team will quickly see new customer signups that have not converted to an active subscription. Additionally, once the Chargify subscription moves to an active state, the Salesforce lead will automatically convert to an Account/Contact record. This parody of information between Chargify and Salesforce can save dozens of hours for your team by eliminating manual data entry and the extra communication needed to keep everyone up to date on those customers in the pipeline.
